Shipping Terms & Conditions
OVERNIGHT DELIVERY All of our orders are shipped overnight with UPS Next Day Air. Orders must be placed by 12noon EST to be shipped the same business day. All shipping costs are included in your purchase price.
DELIVERY DAYS UPS delivers Tuesday through Saturday.*
* There is an extra $20 fee for Saturday delivery and it may not be available in all areas. Please call us if you are unsure if UPS delivers to your area on Saturday.
Holiday Blackout Dates Delivery is not available on major holidays nor on the day directly following a holiday. We are unable to deliver on the following dates in 2010:
New Years Day January 1&2, 2010 Memorial Day May 31 & June 1, 2010 4th of July July 4&5, 2010 Labor Day September 6&7, 2010 Thanksgiving November 25&26, 2010 Christmas December 25&26, 2010
Alaska Deliveries There is an extra $20 fee for deliveries to Alaska.
Hawaii Deliveries There is an extra $20 fee for deliveries to Hawaii. In addition, shipments of all live seafood must be accompanied by an import permit issued by Hawaii's Plant Quarantine Branch. It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain the import permit. For more information, go to http://hawaii.gov/hdoa/pi/pq/import.
Shipment Tracking If you provided us with your email address at time of order, you will receive an email with your UPS tracking information. You may also call us after 1pm on the day of shipment to obtain your tracking number. You can track shipments at www.ups.com or by calling UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS.
Packaging All of our live lobsters and seafood is hand picked and packaged in insulated boxes, cushioned with seaweed or wet newspaper, and refrigerated with gel packs. Your package will also contain complimentary cooking instructions, bibs and mats. Gift Shipments If you are sending live lobsters as a gift, please be sure to inform the recipient. Trust us when we say that a box of dead lobsters - because the recipient wasn't expecting a package and didn't check their front door - does not make a very nice gift! If you prefer the element of surprise, we recommend sending a New Meadows Lobster Gift Certificate.
Weather Policy New Meadows Lobster is not responsible for packages that are delayed due to inclement weather. We will do everything in our power to anticipate shipping problems and contact you before your package ships.
